About my practice
I am a senior Speech & Language Therapist who has extensive experience with a wide range of both childhood and adult speech, language and swallowing difficulties.
I have practiced in a number of settings to include; private practice, acute hospitals and hospice care during which I have worked with toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults. I specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of communication disorders to include; receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, autism spectrum disorders, auditory processing disorders and voice disorders. I also have a keen interest in dysphagia management and provide an out-reach service to local nursing homes. I am a fluent Irish speaker and can provide intervention as Gaeilge if desired.
I am a member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT), as well as the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and I am CORU registered. Since graduating, I have completed additional training in Dysphagia, LÁMH, AAC, and communication interventions post stroke. I am a Hanen Certified Clinician, and a Lee Silverman qualified Voice Therapist.
