About my practice

Evoke Speech Therapy Clinic is based in Midleton, Co. Cork. The Clinic was founded by Leslie Moore who offers a professional and friendly, client-centred approach to intervention, guided by evidence-based practice. Leslie provides private speech, language and voice therapy intervention to adults and children and services include assessment, diagnoses and treatment of a wide range of speech, language communication difficulties. Leslie provides effective, creative and motivating sessions in a state-of-the-art therapy centre, with purpose-built individual adult and child therapy rooms. Where necessary, home visits can also be arranged to suit the client’s needs. Leslie also provides speech and language therapy to children in mainstream and special schools, working with other allied professionals and provides out-reach services to nursing homes and hospitals. She is also very active in providing speech, language and communication training and support to early years providers in the greater Cork area.

Leslie is an Honours Graduate of Speech and Language Therapy from University College Cork, is a member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists and is CORU registered. She has post-graduate training in Dysphagia, is a Hanen Certified Clinician, is Elklan trained and a Lee Silverman qualified Voice Therapist (the gold standard for treatment of voice impairment in Parkinson’s Disease). She is also a first class honours’ graduate of St. Nicholas Montessori College and is committed to continuing professional development. Leslie also has Clinical experience working across hospital and community settings with both children and adults. She has worked with many client groups in the HSE and in private practice, from pre-school children with developmental delays/disorders to adults and children who have cognitive communication difficulties following brain injury/stroke.

Availability: Leslie’s private practice is by appointment only and operates Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
