Kate Grehan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2010 with an honours degree. Kate has gained valuable experience internationally in Singapore working in both rehabilitation and acute hospital settings. Since coming back to Ireland Kate has worked in adult community services, Naas general hospital as well as Tallaght Hospital. Kate specialises in:
•Adult speech impairments (dysarthria)
•Language impairment (aphasia)
•Adult swallowing disorders
•Videofluoroscopy (swallow x-ray)
•Voice difficulties (trained in Laryngeal Manual Therapy and Lee Silverman Voice Therapy)
Kate provides videofluoroscopy clinics three times per week in Beacon Hospital which allow swallowing problems to be studied in detail on a continuous moving x-ray.
Kate is a full member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists and registered with the regulating body for Healthcare professionals CORU.
