Caoimhe Carney SLT

About my practice

Caoimhe is a Clinical Specialist Speech & Language Therapist in a teaching hospital in Dublin. She has experience working in both Irish and Australian healthcare systems.

Caoimhe has experience working with people with progressive neurological conditions including Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. She has a specialist interest in primary progressive aphasia, and provides comprehensive assessment and management of what is important to each individual. Support for someone might include direct and focused intervention, compensatory strategies, additional or alternative methods of communicating (eg. pictures) and support or education for family and friends.

Caoimhe is a qualified Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) clinician.
