About my practice

Based in Ballyboughal, North County Dublin, Riverside SLT is a clinic run by Dr. Eibhlin Gorman. Eibhlin is a fully qualified, CORU registered speech and language therapist (SLT), holding both a BSc and PhD.

After more than 17 years of working as an SLT for the HSE, Eibhlin set up Riverside SLT in 2025, to provide quality, individualised therapy that is evidence-based and child-centred. She works with a range of clients, but has a special interest in working with children who stutter/ stammer, and with children with language and speech sound disorders.  Eibhlin enjoys getting to know each child and family and working with them to reach their particular goals.

Eibhlin values highly the quality of intervention provided. She only takes on clients who she has the right skills and experience to help. For this reason, she would like all potential families to note that her practice does NOT cover areas such as eating, drinking or swallowing difficulties, selective mutism, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Gestalt Language Processing, or young children who are showing early signs of autism.
