About my practice
I am a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of communication needs. I have worked with children presenting with speech sound difficulties, language delay and disorder, social communication differences, late talking, stammering, autism, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs.
I am passionate about helping children build confidence in their communication skills through evidence-based, person-centred therapy that is tailored to each person’s individual strengths and needs. I am trained in Derbyshire Language Scheme, Hanen principals, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule and more. I work closely with families to create supportive, engaging, and functional communication goals that can be carried over into everyday life.
Alongside my Speech and Language Therapy qualification, I also hold a Master’s level qualification in Psychology, which enhances my understanding of child development, behavior, learning, and emotional wellbeing. This additional background supports a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy.
I strive to make therapy enjoyable, collaborative, and empowering for both children and their families. I’m available for assessments and short blocks of regular therapy with a core focus on parent coaching to best improve outcomes.
