About my practice

My approach to Speech and Language Therapy aims to facilitate the development of children’s communication through detailed assessment, direct intervention and family/caregiver training. I provide evidence based practice in a supportive and welcoming environment to achieve functional goals, bringing meaningful change to clients lives. I am passionate about working with children with severe speech sound disorders, Developmental Language Disorder and Autism.

I am a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist with many years working with and alongside children, family/caregivers and educational providers. I am a registered member of CORU, The Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapy (IASLT) and the Independent Speech Therapists Ireland (ISTI).

I am dedicated to continuing my professional development and I have completed the following additional training;
-Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme,

Availability: Ciara is available Monday- Friday 9.00-5.00pm for Assessments, Intervention, Advice Clinics, Workshops and Contracted work for Autism Diagnostic Assessments (ADIR’s and ADOS’)
