About my practice
My name is Katie and I obtained my degree in Speech and Language Therapy from University College Cork. I’m registered with the CORU Health and Social Care Professional Body (SL051040). My experience to date has involved working with children and young people with a wide range of neurodevelopmental differences, including Autism, ADHD, and Intellectual Disability. I also provide AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) support to families and schools, alongside assessment and intervention for speech sound delays and disorders. In addition, I have experience supporting language development in late talkers, gestalt language processors, and individuals with diverse language profiles.
My approach to intervention is neurodiversity-affirming and grounded in respect for each child’s unique strengths and areas of need.
