About my practice

With over 17 years experience working with children and young people across a range of settings, I now divide my time between HSE Paediatric Primary Care services and my private practice.  Being committed to ongoing professional development, I am able to offer a range of evidence based services to children and young people.  With vast experience working as a Senior SLT with the HSE Primary Care services I have developed a specific skill set in working with children who require support to achieve their communicative and, in turn, their academic potential.  I offer comprehensive assessment services for school aged language and liaise with educational staff and educational psychologists to try to determine a child’s strengths and needs.   I work closely with many mainstream schools and work collaboratively with school staff across the county, developing and supporting children’s academic journeys .  I have a passion for working with speech sound difficulties but am equally committed to late talkers, early language, school age language and fluency (stammering).  I offer fluency services to children, young people and adults of all ages with successful outcomes.

Therapy is offered in a fun engaging way that also empowers parents to continue to make positive changes outside of the direct therapy sessions.
