About my practice

Hello, I’m Sinéad, a Senior Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting children and their families. Alongside my role in Primary Care with the HSE, I provide private speech and language therapy to help children develop the communication skills they need to thrive.

I am a member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT), CORU registered, and fully insured. Throughout my career, I have worked with children of all ages with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. I also work closely with parents, preschools, schools, and other Health and Social Care Professionals, including psychologists and occupational therapists, to provide joined-up, child-centred care.

As a parent, it can be worrying when you feel your child isn’t communicating as expected. You might be wondering if they’ll “grow out of it”, whether they need extra support, or where to turn for advice. I aim to make that journey a little easier by providing a welcoming service for you and your child.

Every child communicates in their own unique way, and I believe therapy should reflect that. I take a positive, evidence-based, solution-focused approach, tailoring assessment and therapy to each child’s individual strengths, needs and interests. My goal is to make therapy practical, engaging and enjoyable while giving parents the confidence and strategies to support their child’s communication in everyday life.

Whether you have concerns about your child’s speech, language, understanding, social communication or early communication skills, I am here to listen, guide and support you. Together, we can help your child build the skills and confidence they need to communicate, learn and connect with the people around them.
